As I sat down to write this newsletter, I realized that Easter was just around the corner. I wanted to find a way to speak to all of you, knowing that not everyone observes this holiday.
Over the years, Easter has taken on a deeper meaning for me. While I still love the fun traditions of egg hunts and Easter baskets (though my kids might have outgrown them!), this season has become a powerful reminder to embrace hope and appreciate the bonds that tie us together, regardless of our individual beliefs or traditions.
In a world that often feels divided, I believe the true spirit of Easter can resonate with everyone.
Years ago I became interested in spirituality. I was fascinated by concepts like energy, vibrations, and the idea that we are all connected to this universal life force that flows through everything.
Spiritual teachers helped me understand that we’re all just spiritual beings having this temporary human experience. By taking time to slow down, get grounded and tap into our intuition, we can feel that profound energy flowing through us.
Despite our shared connection, our perceptions of life can vary greatly due to the unique ways our senses filter the world. This variation in personal awareness and viewpoint can lead to two people witnessing the same event yet coming away with different experiences and interpretations.
Recognizing this truth has brought me a greater sense of peace, as it has helped me understand and accept that my beliefs and those of others may not always align.
I’d spent so many years frantic and in my head, but simply making space to appreciate the present moment brought an incredible sense of calm and clarity. As I expanded my own vibration, the entire world looked brighter.
Easter is a celebration of the ultimate rebirth and fresh start. The classic story of resurrection serves as a symbolic reminder that there’s always hope, even when things seem darkest. As Dr. Michael Brown wrote in an insightful article, “Easter’s bottom line is hope.” And honestly, as a human race, we could all use a big dose of that right now!
I encourage you all to take a pause and connect to that deeper part of yourselves. Whether it’s through meditation, making art, dancing, being in nature or whatever helps you feel more grounded and light – lean into those higher vibrations!
Make a gratitude list, listen to uplifting music, or just take in the simplicity of the present moment.
At the end of the day, Easter is about new beginnings. It’s a fresh opportunity to let go of what’s weighing you down and start over with a renewed spirit of hope.
Whether you’re religious or not, take this holiday as a chance to tap into your inner light and optimism for the future.
Sending you positive vibes for a blessed Easter!
