The Grandmother Who Manifested Magic

share

I’ve become obsessed with manifestation lately, feeling the universe’s gentle nudge to make some changes.

Here I am, what feels like Day 10 of the “oh, it’s ok, it’s the holidays” mindset, where my usual routines have slipped, and my body is quietly suggesting Dry January might be a good idea.

You know that familiar stage between Christmas and New Year’s where your energy just feels… off? That’s where I was when I heard a manifesting story so believable that I had to share with you.

While watching one of my favorite spiritual teachers on YouTube (it’s what I do when I’m wide awake at 3 am), I heard a compelling story on manifestation and our innate power to shape our reality.

The story follows a 70-year-old woman struggling with loneliness, particularly around not having grandchildren. Her heart aches for something that felt impossible to have. She had never had children, which meant she would never experience the joy of being a grandmother – or so she thought.

While watching her friends’ social media posts filled with holiday baking sessions and art projects with their grandkids, she felt that familiar ache of ‘this will never be me.’ We all know that feeling of impossibility, don’t we?

But instead of focusing on what she couldn’t have, her coach suggested something that probably seemed a bit woo-woo at first: “Close your eyes and tell me about your perfect day as a grandmother.”

And so, she did. She described three grandchildren (two girls and a boy, she was specific!). She imagined teaching them her secret cookie recipe, the way their little hands would get covered in flour. She pictured art projects spread across her dining room table, tiny voices calling her “Grandma,” and those precious ordinary moments with little ones.

Here’s the amazing part – within a month, a family moved in next door with three children who were missing their grandparents back home. The universe delivered, just not in the package she expected. She got her three grandkids (though two boys and a girl instead), the cookie-baking sessions, the art projects – all of it.

This story resonates deeply with me as we step into 2025. Like many of you, I’ve been thinking about what I want to create in my life. And while we often focus on the big things – our health, work, and relationships – I’ve realized that the real magic happens in the small daily choices that align with who we want to become.

This brings to mind Einstein’s brilliant observation: “Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality.” It’s not just philosophy – it’s physics. Every thought we have, every routine we maintain, every belief we hold is either aligning us with our desired reality or keeping us tethered to our current one.

The shift begins with small changes. For me, it started with replacing my immediate morning coffee with warm lemon water and five minutes of quiet visualization. In these moments, I imagine how my ideal 2025 feels. What am I doing? Who am I with? How am I showing up in the world? Sometimes the smallest changes create the biggest ripples.

What if the key to manifestation isn’t in the big goals but in these small, daily choices that align our energy with what we truly desire?

Here’s my invitation to you:

Think of one thing you want to manifest this year. Instead of focusing on not having it, begin living as if it’s already part of your reality. What daily habits would that version of you have? What small shifts can you make today that align with your future self?

Remember the grandmother’s story – she started living as if she were already a grandmother in her heart. And the universe matched that energy in the most unexpected and beautiful way.

Let’s make 2025 the year we stop waiting for change and start being the change. Trust that when we open our hearts to what’s possible, life has a beautiful way of surprising us.

….. until next time many many sweet blessings.

Please forward this to anyone who might need a little extra support right now.  Together, we can create more harmony and balance in the world.
