Popping in to say hi and share this week’s energy 💫 tip for your week ahead:
Tomorrow night brings a beautiful “blue” full moon in Aquarius – perfect timing to start something new. Full moons intensify energy, which can make people feel more intense emotions and fatigue.
But it’s also a powerful time for manifestation. Focus on what you want to bring into your life and what you want to release.
Maybe it’s a good time to make better choices for your future self!
What energies do you want to invite into your life?
What energies are you ready to let go of?
I’ve been slacking on my daily meditation, which usually keeps me grounded. Sometimes a busy life can knock us off course, and that’s what’s been happening to me lately. It’s been hit or miss with my meditation practice for a while.
A friend recently discovered an app with a FREE 12-Day Meditation Course by 1GiantMind.
I’m giving it a try, I’m on Day 3 and loving it!
It’s simple, with easy 15-minute daily lessons. After completing the course, they offer an optional 30-day challenge to reinforce the practice.
How about starting a new meditation practice to bring in the Full Moon tomorrow night?
As a writer, I tend to overthink. I’m constantly writing in my head. I’ve noticed that without consistent meditation, my vibe feels off and I’m more anxious.
Life is easier when I meditate.
Meditation creates coherence in the brain, allowing our bodies to rest 5x deeper than sleep. It’s like a supercharged 15-minute power nap. When the brain’s hemispheres work in harmony, we’re able to access a 4th state of consciousness – a return to inner wholeness.
Dr. Iain McGilchrist, psychiatrist and author of “The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World”, explains:
“The left brain 🧠 sees things as good or bad, right or wrong, and wants everything to be certain and structured. Our right brain sees the big picture, keeps us present, and fosters empathy, creativity, and intuition. The right brain 🧠 excels at mindfulness and stilling the monkey mind to appreciate the present moment.”
Without mindfulness training, most of us have a left-brain tendency. My energy teacher often says, “It’s like we’ve been taking our left brain to the gym our entire life!”
We’ve strengthened it through constant analysis, attention to details, and maintaining control.
It takes a consistent practice to get both sides of the brain in coherence.
As the full moon illuminates the night sky tomorrow, let it inspire you to ignite your inner world. This celestial event is the perfect chance to begin your meditation practice.
Just as the moon goes through phases, so do we. Let the full moon bring balance to your mind and spirit.
….. until next time many many sweet blessings.
