Last night, I got a thoughtful text and photo from a girlfriend: “It’s almost full! Hope it’s bringing you good energy this weekend! ❤️
I had to laugh – she knows so well! Full moons always affect me deeply, making me extra sensitive for a few days before and after.
And tonight’s moon?
It’s the last one in 2024, making it extra special.
You might question how the full moon could influence someone’s emotions. Many are skeptical of the notion that planetary alignments and celestial events influence human beings.
I came across an interesting statement on Instagram this week:
“It’s funny how people will believe in Wi-Fi and the invisible waves that connect our digital devices, yet talk about human beings as energy, frequency, and vibrational beings is considered mystical nonsense.”
Nikola Tesla once said,
“If you want to understand the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”
Tesla, one of history’s most brilliant scientific minds who helped bring electricity into our homes, understood that everything in the universe is connected through energy.
He believed that humans are biological receivers and transmitters of cosmic energy, much like the electrical devices he invented. Tesla even suggested that our thoughts and emotions create specific frequencies that interact with the energy fields around us – an idea that modern quantum physics is exploring.
As a Virgo, I’m naturally inclined to analyze the deeper mechanics of life. My study of astrology and energy healing has revealed interesting similarities between modern science and ancient wisdom.
What I’ve discovered and what ancient cultures have always known: we are basically walking energy systems, constantly interacting with the natural forces around us. We’re all intimately connected to the Earth and Cosmos in ways we’re only beginning to understand.
Just as each of us has a unique birth chart reflecting the cosmic positioning at our exact moment of birth, we each carry our own energetic fingerprint. This individual “inner wiring” isn’t about being good or bad; it’s about how we uniquely connect with life force energy.
During a full moon, many people report experiencing:
- More vivid dreams and altered sleep patterns
- Enhanced emotional awareness
- Increased intuitive insights
- A stronger urge to reflect and release
Think of yourself like your smartphone – you’ve got all these amazing apps (talents) and features (personality traits), but they work best when you’re fully charged and have a good signal.
When we’re not connected to our authentic nature, it’s like running with a weak battery – everything’s slower and more frustrating than it needs to be.
Since this is our last full moon of the year, it’s the perfect opportunity to do a little soul housekeeping.
Take a moment to scroll through the photos on your phone from this past year. As you look at each picture, notice which ones stir up strong feelings. Maybe you feel joy, sadness, or a little uneasy. These emotional reactions are like little messages, pointing to parts of your life that might need your attention or are ready to be released.
My favorite way to practice forgiveness is the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono prayer. It’s a powerful tool for emotional clearing and healing:
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you”
Simply repeat these words, focusing either on yourself or someone else who needs some love. I love this practice because it always brings me such peace.
Learning to connect with our energy and emotions is one of the most practical gifts we can give ourselves. When we tune into what affects us (like the moon’s cycles), it helps us flow more easily through life’s natural ups and downs.
So tonight, when you look up at the bright sky, take a moment to check in with yourself. Maybe take a photo like my girlfriend did. And remember – we’re all trying our best to stay connected. 🌕✨
….. until next time many many sweet blessings.
Please forward this to anyone who might need a little extra support right now. Together, we can create more harmony and balance in the world.
