Welcome to My Rising Vibe, a blog dedicated to energy wellness, healthy habits, and the mind-body connection. I’m so glad you’re here!
Beneath the surface, I’m a recovering people pleaser, perfectionist, and worrier. For many years, I struggled with taking on everyone else’s problems as my own.
In 2018, I came to a deeper understanding of my struggles with anxiety and depression as a wife and mom. I realized that my coping mechanism had been to keep myself constantly busy with my children, work, and exercise, leaving little room for self-care.
After I discovered Reiki, a form of energy healing, I shifted. The experience inspired me to slow down and explore the limiting beliefs that had been holding me back.
Inspired by newfound awareness, I began to write and share my experiences on this blog, starting with my first post, My Midlife Reset.
As an intuitive and sensitive person, I deeply empathize with the pain and suffering of others. I used to believe that prioritizing everyone else’s needs before my own was the key to feeling better. However, I’ve learned that my own needs are equally important and require attention.
The tools I’ve learned have helped me better manage my energy and soothe my nervous system, regardless of external circumstances.
I wholeheartedly believe that we all have the inner strength to overcome obstacles and empower ourselves to make positive changes in our lives.
When we tune into our bodies and balance our energy, we can achieve optimal wellness.
